Article Submission Sites for SEO: 50+ High DA List (2026)

Top 150+ article submission sites for SEO with high DA 2025

Last updated: October 22, 2026

Article submission sites are platforms where you can publish your own articles and link back to your website. Done well, they can bring a little referral traffic and get your name in front of new readers. Done badly, they can waste your time or even put your site at risk.

This page gives you a list of more than 50 article submission sites, with their DA, PA and spam score. We have also added a short reality check on what these sites can and can’t do for SEO, because that part is often left out.

We start with SparkArticles, then list the rest by Domain Authority.

Featured: SparkArticles

SparkArticles sits at the top of our list. It also has a separate writing subdomain, write.sparkarticles.com (DA 39, PA 22, spam score 1), which appears in the lower-DA table below.

Does Article Submission Still Help SEO? An Honest Answer

Before you start submitting, it helps to know three things.

1. DA is not a Google score. Domain Authority and Page Authority (DA and PA) are numbers made by Moz, a tool company. Google does not use them in its rankings. Moz itself says so, and Google’s own staff have said the same. Search Engine Journal has a good summary. DA is still handy as a rough way to compare sites, but a high DA does not mean a link from that site will help you rank.

2. Google has rules about this kind of link. Google’s spam policies treat links made mainly to manipulate rankings as link spam. Its examples include links with optimized anchor text inside articles, guest posts or press releases that are distributed on other sites. In plain words: if you publish the same keyword-stuffed article on dozens of sites just to get links, you are taking a risk.

3. Many platforms don’t pass link credit. Many user-generated platforms mark outbound links as nofollow or ugc, which tells search engines not to treat them as a vote for your site. We have not checked the link type for every site in our list, so check it yourself before you rely on a site for SEO.

So what are they good for? Used carefully, article sites can bring some referral visitors, help people discover your brand, and give you another place to share content that is genuinely useful. Treat them as a small, supporting activity and not as your main SEO plan.

How to Choose a Good Article Submission Site

DA is only one thing to look at. Check these too:

  • Relevance. A site that covers your topic is worth more than a random one with a bigger number.
  • Spam score. Lower is better. Most sites in our list show 1, but one shows 17, which stands out (see the first table below).
  • Real readers. Look for recent posts, comments and activity. An empty site helps nobody.
  • Moderation. Sites that review submissions tend to be cleaner than ones that accept anything.
  • Link rules. Check whether links are allowed, how many, and whether they are nofollow, ugc or normal.
  • Clean look. Avoid sites packed with ads, unrelated topics or low-quality articles.

Plus SparkArticles at the top, that makes 51 sites in total.

A quick note on the tiers. Sites with a very high DA are often big platforms where thousands of people post, so your article can get lost. Newer sites with a low DA are quieter but may have fewer real readers. A mix of both, chosen by relevance, is usually more sensible than chasing the biggest number.

How to Submit an Article, Step by Step

  1. Pick a handful of sites, not all 51. Choose those that fit your topic and look active.
  2. Read the rules first. Each site has its own rules on topics, length and links.
  3. Write a fresh version for each site. Don’t paste the same article everywhere. Rework the intro, examples and structure so each one is useful on its own.
  4. Add value. Tips, steps, examples and real numbers make an article worth reading, and worth sharing.
  5. Link naturally. Link to the most relevant page on your site, for example a guide that actually fits the article, not just your homepage. Use your brand name, the page title or a plain phrase as the link text.
  6. End with a simple call to action. Invite readers to read more, subscribe or get in touch.
  7. Track what happens. Check referral visits in Google Analytics and Search Console, then keep doing more of what works.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Mass-submitting the same article to dozens of sites
  • Stuffing keywords into the link text. This is the pattern Google’s spam policy warns about
  • Submitting to sites that have nothing to do with your topic
  • Ignoring the spam score and the quality of the site
  • Expecting quick ranking jumps. Links from article sites are a small piece of a bigger plan
  • Neglecting your own site. Good content, a fast mobile site and useful pages matter more than any list of directories

Frequently Asked Questions

What is article submission in SEO?
It means publishing articles on third-party sites that accept them, usually with a link back to your own site. The aim is referral traffic, brand exposure and, in some cases, links.

Is article submission still worth it in 2026?
It can be a small, useful extra if you pick relevant sites and write real, helpful content. It is not a shortcut to ranking, and large campaigns with optimized anchor text can go against Google’s spam policies.

Does a high DA site give better SEO results?
Not necessarily. DA is a Moz metric, and Google doesn’t use it. Relevance, quality and real readers matter more.

Are these links dofollow?
We can’t promise that. Many platforms use nofollow or ugc links. Check each site before you submit.

How many sites should I submit to?
Quality beats quantity. A few well-chosen sites with unique articles are better than dozens of copies.

Are article submission sites free?
Most of the sites in this list let you post for free, but rules and requirements vary, so check each one.

Final Thoughts

Article submission sites can be a useful extra when you use them carefully: pick relevant ones, write original articles, link naturally and watch the results. Don’t rely on DA numbers, and don’t expect them to do the work of strong content on your own site.

I do love the way you have presented this specific issue plus it does present me some fodder for thought. Nonetheless, through everything that I have experienced, I basically hope as the opinions pack on that individuals continue to be on point and in no way embark upon a soap box of the news du jour. Anyway, thank you for this outstanding piece and even though I do not necessarily go along with it in totality, I regard the point of view.
